I'm Norm Casselman, founder of bin⁠OPUS. As a retired senior principal software engineer, I have decades of experience developing embedded systems, real-time software, engineering tools, and hardware-integrated applications for mission-critical environments.

I spent much of my career working for a US defense contractor, where reliability, precision, and rigorous engineering practices were essential. Before that, I began as a scientific programmer for a consumer electronics company, where I developed mainframe computer graphics software for circuit analysis.
